In our quest to reduce our impact on the environment, we have partnered with Africa Organics to supply us with hand wash for our visitor and staff bathrooms, and shampoo and conditioner for our divers’ showers. These products are 100% natural, preservative free, biodegradable and contain certified organic ingredients.

Our ethos is firmly entrenched in conservation and education, and we can provide a platform for like-minded brands to position their own environmental messaging.

More about Africa Organics

Genuinely natural and organic products make up about 9% of the total sales of personal care products in Germany and the United States. The East is heading toward this figure as well. South Africa is still below 0.1%.

Organic products are expensive here because they’re almost all imported. Africa Organics has just put a certified organic, fair-trade body wash on the shelves at R40. So consumers who care about the environment – and their health – now have an option at a reasonable price.

All the Africa Organics hair and body products are certified organic by Ecocert France. Ecocert ensures that the product is free of chemicals that have been highlighted as potential health risks. It also traces the ingredients back to the farmer and audits the production facility twice a year. For the consumer this means that they get a safe product that holds true to the environmental principles of the organic movement.

Africa Organics subscribes to the cradle-to-cradle philosophy. The product is very rapidly biodegradable and the packaging is recyclable. The brand is also certified by the Vegan Society and is certified cruelty free. With a natural and fresh fragrance, these products are ideal for use by the whole family, even sensitive skins.
