It’s National Water Week, and we’re encouraging visitors to avoid rushing off to buy bottled water, which creates plastic litter and overloads landfill sites. Instead, fill a container from your tap at home and take it with you in your car, on a hike or while shopping.

South Africa’s drinking water is reputedly among the best in the world, and we are one of very few countries where water can still be consumed directly from the tap. So have a drink on us, and enjoy some watery inspiration from our staff at each one of the exhibits:
