The Aquarium’s Members’ Centre and Visitor Services desk are no more. In their place is our brand-new Visitor Centre, which significantly streamlines how we interact with our visitors.
For some years now, we have looked at ways to advertise and display the Aquarium’s value-added products and offerings in-house.
With the advent of online bookings and payment convenience, we developed our online adventure dive and penguin encounter booking and payment platforms. Despite that, visitors still found it far better to consult staff onsite about our products.
Members’ Centre staff met with visitors who wanted an annual membership only. Our Visitor Services desk staff spoke to visitors enquiring and wanting to book our adventure dive.
When we developed our combo ticket in partnership with the Ocean Adventurer yacht, we felt that it was time to create a venue in the Aquarium where visitors can enquire about, discuss and book Aquarium products.
Today, we are proud to introduce our newly developed and revamped Visitor Centre, where you now can engage with our friendly staff and enquire about, book and pay for the following Aquarium products:
- Annual membership
- Adventure dive
- Penguin encounters
- Marine game drives aboard the Ocean Adventurer
- For the children, we have included the Happy Hopper Kids Club and the Keep the Beach Clean puppet storybooks
But wait, there is more: you can now also donate to our conservation programmes and school group visitation programme in the Visitor Centre.
