Visit our mobile-friendly online ticket shop

Our online ticket shop page has recently been upgraded – the site is now responsive, which means it detects what device you are viewing it on (be it a desktop, tablet or cellphone), and resizes itself for optimal viewing on your particular screen. This makes it much easier to navigate, especially if you are on the go.

This means that you can buy tickets online, purchase or renew membership, and book a shark dive all from the comfort of your phone!

Our website receives a healthy number of monthly visitors, and this number has been steadily increasing over the years. Using analytics, it was clear that a growing number of visitors are using mobile devices, and are mostly interested in purchasing tickets for the Aquarium from their device. It was in response to these changes that responsive design was clearly the way to go.

“We continually look at ways to improve our customer service, which is why we have introduced a responsive shop page to our website,” says Alichia Nortjé, Marketing Manager for the Two Oceans Aquarium. “This means that our visitors are able to buy from a range of Aquarium products online with ease, regardless of the device they use.”

Make a donation

Other new additions to the page are the conservation donation and “Sponsor a child’s visit” options. Visitors can either add an amount of R25, R50 or R100 to their shopping cart before checkout, to go towards wildlife conservation (of which the we do some of our own, as well as support other charities), or sponsor an underprivileged child’s visit to the Aquarium. These options have already proven popular, and, of course, go towards very worthy causes.

The best part about buying your Aquarium tickets online is the 10% discount, exclusive to online shoppers. Next time you are planning on visiting the fish, make sure you check out www.aquarium.co.za/shop.
