Video: The Sappi River Meander

Two Oceans Aquarium

This short video shows the middle reaches of a river as exhibited at the Two Oceans Aquarium Sappi River Meander. Serene, cool and refreshing, over the years this exhibit has matured into one of our most inspiring exhibits and now boasts a ten-year-old milkwood forest; a breeding colony of African penguins from which we release juveniles into the wild; rockhopper penguins; African black oystercatchers and a wide selection of freshwater fish, indigenous and alien, to our Western Cape rivers.

Come and visit us at the Sappi River Meander for a cool, fresh and serene amble through the story of a river. Then have some plopping good fun at Frogs: Beyond the Pond!

This video is from the Two Oceans Aquarium YouTube channel and it was filmed at the Aquarium on 21 March, 2011.
