Provincial Minister Alan Winde suited up for the dive
Western Cape Minister of Finance, Economic Development & Tourism Alan Winde paid a visit to the Two Oceans Aquarium earlier today, donning a wetsuit and taking a dive in the I&J Predator Exhibit.

He was there to launch the province’s summer campaign, Adventurously Yours, Naturally Ours,  which seeks to highlight the many nature and adventure activities to be found in the Western Cape.

“The dive was quite amazing,” said Winde after emerging from the exhibit.

“This summer season we’re encouraging holidaymakers, whether locals or foreigners, to try something different. There are so many great experiences to be had here in the Western Cape, so go out there enjoy what we’ve got to offer.”

Diving with the sharks of the Two Oceans Aquarium is certainly on the list of must-do activities for anyone visiting this region this summer. No cages are required, and sightings are guaranteed all year round! If you are not a qualified diver, check out the short course we offer, which allows you a dive in the I&J Predator Exhibit at the end.
