Three more days (and nights) of extended hours

Two Oceans Aquarium

Is the heat getting a bit much for you? Same here! And it looks like this series of heat waves will last until Sunday. Great timing – until Sunday, 9 January, the Aquarium will be open until 20h00. Come and cool down around our serene exhibits and enjoy some dinner at Shoreline Café, right on the water’s edge with Table Mountain keeping a watchful eye. You may even see some seals frolicking on their new dedicated platform. We open our doors at 09h00 until 9 January, so if you’re looking for an early-morning escape, you’re at the right place!

We’ve also got a great kiddies’ arts and crafts programme happening at the AfriSam Children’s Centre, and that’s happening until 18 January.

On Monday, 10 January, we will return to our normal operating hours: we’re open every day from 09h30 until 18h00.

There’s a new exhibit to check out at the Aquarium, too: our Creepy Crawly Exhibit might give you the creeps, but it’s bound to educate and entertain.

Or learn more about plastic pollution with Plastikos, a hard-hitting and eye-opening look at the world we’ve created.

That’s not forgetting the usual suspects, of course: be mesmerised by the ragged-tooth sharks in the I&J Predator Exhibit, climb into the world of the clownfish and have a plopping good time with our toads and frogs in the Frogs: Beyond the Pond exhibit.
