You better watch out … Terminator, Silver and Santa are in town! Our mascots, Terminator the Seal and Silver the Shark, were invited to join a host of other colourful characters – including Scooby Doo and the Oros Man – to welcome Father Christmas to the V&A Waterfront on 15 December, 2010.
The characters met at the Wheel of Excellence to welcome Santa to town. Each character made a star appearance from a cubicle at the wheel before moving across to the giant Christmas cracker on Market Square. Here they had the opportunity to donate a pair of shoes towards the Bobs for Good Foundation (former Springbok captain Bob Skinstad’s non-profit organisation that donates school shoes to underprivileged children of South Africa).
From here they moved to the V&A’s giant Christmas tree for a photo opportunity with the visitors.
