The Two Oceans Aquarium Environmental Education Centre is running a host of great courses in the coming months – an excellent way to stay inspired during the school holidays!
SEA Science Investigation
Children between the ages of 10 and 13 years should join in on the SEA: SI programme, which is running from 2 to 4 April, from 08h30 to 15h30. With the expert, interactive guidance of our Environmental Education Centre teachers, kids will become super-sleuths who unravel the mysteries and intricacies of the marine world. This three-day programme during the school holidays opens up a world of underwater magic.
As an added extra – only R50 – to the hands-on education programme, kids can take a marine eco-tour on the Ocean Adventurer on 5 April.
Dates: 2, 3 and 4 April
Time: 08h30 to 15h30
Price: R350 (R450 with a healthy Shoreline Café deal)
Extra: Marine eco-boat tour (5 April) at R50 per child.

Free Young Biologist Course for Grade 11 learners
Due to the success of our annual De Beers-sponsored Young Biologist programme during the September/October holidays last year, we will be running a second programme during the March/April holidays this year.
This free course from 26 March to 1 April will be aimed at Grade 11 learners who are passionate about the marine environment and committed to making a change.
As with the September programme, applicants will spend four days at the Two Oceans Aquarium after which the group spends three days at a camp.
Upon completion of the programme, learners are required to commit to at least 30 volunteer hours at the Two Oceans Aquarium.
Applications for this course close on 29 February 2012.
