The sharks have been released & we're building a new shark exhibit!
If you join the Two Oceans Aquarium as a member during October, you will automatically be entered into a lucky draw for a R3 450 prize, which includes a Reef Dynamite wetsuit (worth R2 050), a Discover Scuba course (worth R650) and an I&J Predator Exhibit dive (worth R750).

The Reef Dynamite is the ultimate entry-level 4.3mm surfing wetsuit. It has Superlite Neoprene in the arms and gusset areas, with a 4mm Dura-mesh torso for extra warmth. The adjustable neck closure insures a good, watertight seal. The Dynamite has GBS seams, Locking YKK back zip and Supra-tex knee pads.
This is the suit for you if you’re into surfing, bodyboarding or general watersports. The Reef Dynamite is not recommended for scuba diving at depths exceeding 6m.
The Discover Scuba course is a short one-day course that will get you to the level of being able to dive in the I&J Predator Exhibit at the Two Oceans Aquarium. The course, run by our resident dive master Iain Robertson, includes use of all supplied equipment and is worth R650. The I&J Predator Exhibit dive is worth R750 and will allow you to come up close and personal with our sharks, in a safe and controlled environment. Iain’s Scuba School has generously donated this course.

How to be entered into the draw? Become a member
There are three ways you can become a Two Oceans Aquarium member.
1. Upgrade your day ticket
So you bought a day ticket for a visit to the Aquarium and you’ve decided you want to come again … and again … and again. For a small extra fee you can upgrade your ticket at the Visitor Centre and have your membership activated immediately!
Please note: Tickets bought online do not qualify for an upgrade; tickets must be bought at the ticket office and upgraded on the day of your visit to qualify.
2. Buy your membership online (and save 10%)
If you buy membership online, you save 10%. Our membership team will prepare your welcome pack, which you can come and pick up when you’re ready.

3. Opt into a debit order
We've made it even more affordable to become a member at the Two Oceans Aquarium. Pay by debit order over the course of the year and enjoy 365-day access to the Aquarium.

Competitions terms and conditions
- Only one entry per person and only the main member qualifies for an entry.
- This contest is open to new members only – renewing members do not qualify for the draw.
- Entries close at 23h59 on 31 October 2015.
- Winners will be notified via telephone no later than Monday 9 November at 12h00.
- One winner will be chosen through a random draw.
- Representatives of the Two Oceans Aquarium will pick the random winner from eligible entries.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winners may be required to participate in a photo-taking session during the issuing of the prize. Pictures may be posted online.
- Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or other items.
- Acceptance of any prize shall constitute consent on the winner's part to allow the use of the winner's name, image, voice and/or likeness by the Two Oceans Aquarium for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.
- This competition is not open to Aquarium staff or volunteers and their families.
