Pics: Festive Celebrations Family Sleepover

Samantha the African penguin greeted guests as they arrived
The Two Oceans Aquarium was transformed into a magical festive grotto on Friday night when it hosted the members’ Family Sleepover. Mums and Dads joined their little ones in an evening of fun and games, and arts and crafts, before gathering around the Christmas tree (and the creatures of the I&J Predator Exhibit) to await a very special visitor! Despite the remarkable resemblance to the Aquarium’s resident divemaster, Iain, we’re assured that Santa Claus had made a very special trip all the way from the North Pole to visit the lucky boys and girls on Friday. Scroll down to see more pictures of the event.

Here’s some feedback from one of the parents who joined in the festive fun on Friday: “Just wanted to say thank you for a fabulous sleepover. The kids loved it, it was so well organised. Diving Santa was wonderful! The Xmas hats and races round the tanks were magical, the film was really funny and the breakfast was very generous as was the family gift. Thank you.” – Michaela Strachan

It’s not too late to become a member, or buy a membership as a Christmas gift for someone else.
