Pic of the day: Gliding horses of the sea

Seahorses have lived in our oceans for approximately 40 million years and what a fascinating little creature it is.

Their heads are shaped like of horses, they have tails that look like monkey tails, male seahorses have a ‘pouch’ like female kangaroos and it is the male who gives birth to offspring some time after the female lays her eggs into his pouch.
