Our fantastic penguin volunteer team was treated to an appreciation outing this month. We all thoroughly enjoyed an evening sail on the Ocean Adventurer eco-boat.
It was time to leave behind the ever-present smell of guano and sardines and indulge in a few drinks and snacks while our skipper took us on a brief journey away from Cape Town shores. Everyone had a great time, including our Penguin Promises Waddle for a Week penguin mascot, Promise, who will be accompanying the intrepid Waddle 2012 team again this year on their trek from Gansbaai to Simonstown from 16 to 21 April.
