National Marine Week is celebrated from 8 to 12 October 2012 and as always, we celebrate the sea and all things fishy!
Pack your sleeping bag, bring along your picnic supper and enjoy a fabulous overnight adventure for the whole family at the Two Oceans Aquarium!
This time we will educate children about the 6 R’s – rethink, refuse, reuse, reduce, recycle and respect. We will have an arts and crafts session, which will be a family learning experience, and we would like you to bring along recycled materials from home to make your own Happy Hopper penguin container. Our programme for the evening also includes a free glitter tattoo for each child from Glimmer Body Art, and a puppet show for the kids.
Snuggle down in your sleeping bag under the watchful eyes of the ragged-tooth sharks. When the sunlight starts to trickle through the water, rise and shine to meet the new day and a yummy breakfast at Shoreline Café.
