It’s the festive season and we are ready to have some fun, ready to celebrate the year that’s been and the start of the summer holidays. On 10 and 12 December, the Aquarium will host its annual members-only festive season sleepovers, which promise to be loads of fun for the whole family.

Start the evening off with face-painting for the little ones. Add a dash of arts and crafts and other fun festive activities with ornaments and crackers. Then settle down to watch a great magic show that’s sure to take your breath away … And once you know whose “ho ho hos” are echoing through the Aquarium, everyone will be on their toes for sure!

When all the presents have been opened and tired yawns start to make their appearance, crawl into your sleeping bag and drift off to dreamland under the watchful eye of ragged-tooth sharks and all the other amazing creatures in the I&J Predator Exhibit.

Dream of a magical underwater wonderland and when the sunlight starts to trickle through the water, rise and shine to meet the new day ... A yummy breakfast will be waiting.

Time: 18h30 to 08h00 the next morning

We can accommodate only 30 members per event.

What to bring: A picnic dinner for the evening; sleeping bags and mattresses; a gift for your child and an option gift for an underprivileged child.

Cost: R185 per person (adult or child)

Booking is essential! Tickets sell very quickly, so book early.

Bookings open 1 December and close on 8 December.
