Members are invited to attend to their first exclusive event of the year - the ever-fun and ever-popular family sleepover. It's happening on 29 March 2019.

Here at the Two Oceans Aquarium, all our staff and animals are involved in defeating the water crisis, so we #SaveLikeAPenguin and know that you do too. At the next members-only family sleepover, happening on 29 March, we will update you on our water-saving initiatives and give you the chance to meet one of our African penguins, up close and personal

We will once again be giving prizes for the best-dressed attendee, so kids are encouraged to dress up as their favourite sea creature.

Members will also be treated to an exclusive preview of our new puppet show, which highlights the water cycle and water-saving ideas in a way that kids will understand and love. Kids will then get to decorate their own set of felt puppets, just like the ones in the puppet show.

After hot chocolate and a movie, we will welcome slumber in front of the I&J Ocean Exhibit, where shoals of fish, rays and our rescue turtles will watch over us while we sleep. Or, if you prefer, you can fall asleep under the watchful eye of the ragged-tooth sharks at the Predator Exhibit.

When the sunlight starts to trickle through the water, rise and shine to meet the new day… A delicious breakfast will be waiting.

Family sleepover details

• When: Thursday 29 March 2018
• Starting at: 18h30 Thursday until 08h00 Friday
• To bring: Picnic dinner for the evening; sleeping bag / mattress, pillow, blankets, toiletries; change of clothes and extra snacks, if need be; your own water for drinking, brushing teeth etc. No tents or torches allowed.
• Cost: R280 per adult; R220 per child 4-13 years; R150 per child 2-3 years
• Please note: We regret NO children under the age of 2 years
