Join us aboard the Ocean Adventurer and revel in a truly unforgettable sailing experience!
Ocean Adventurer, in partnership with the Two Oceans Aquarium, offers boat-based marine eco-tours that focus on the rich biodiversity found in the waters of Cape Town’s Table Bay and surrounds. Each tour starts with a trained guide explaining our upwelling system, as well as the phytoplankton blooms and their importance to the marine life they support. The guides also provide commentary and information on what is sighted and encountered while on the tour. See photos from a recent trip here.
The boat is equipped with an onboard microscope, connected to two television screens. This enables the guides to show images of some of the multitude of tiny organisms that live in Table Bay. Bigger creatures, like birds, seals and penguins, are seen daily while dolphins, whales and sunfish are spotted regularly (depending on the season).
So bring along your picnic basket and enjoy a fun family day out!
