The Two Oceans Aquarium has a brand-new channel on YouTube – because some things are just better on screen.
Click here to visit our profile – we’ve personalised our background, which now showcases the Indian Ocean’s creatures – and watch our first video, featuring entertaining highlights of Aquarium exhibits and creatures.
You can share the video on Facebook, Twitter, or MySpace, at the click of a button.
When you visit our channel, you’ll notice that we’ve listed the Save our Seas (SOS) Rethink the Shark adverts among our favourites. The Aquarium is committed to shark conservation and has been actively involved in gathering data on ragged-tooth sharks, which are endangered species, to raise awareness around their plight. This issue is very close to our hearts as the Aquarium was instrumental in the release of SOS ambassador, Maxine, back into the wild in 2004.
Please let us know what you think: we’d love to see your comments, so just click on the thumbs-up icon below the video and tell us what you’d like to see more of.
Check in regularly for new videos covering interviews with key movers and shakers at the Aquarium, species profiles, exhibit tours and more in the coming months.
