As part of the 2013 Wavescape Festival, Pick n Pay and the Save Our Seas Foundation are presenting an evening of 10-minute talks by 10 thought leaders intimately connected to the ocean. They include artists, craftsmen, athletes, activists, scientists and personalities, who will share their inspiring ideas and adventures in an informal, fun gathering. The intention is to create a vibrant, “real” social network where inspiring ideas and energy can be shared.
Slide Night is being hosted at the I&J Predator Exhibit at the Two Oceans Aquarium on Wednesday 11 December, and starts at 19h00. Tickets cost R100. Lauren de Vos, research assistant at the University of Cape Town’s Marine Research Institute and creator of several beautiful videos about False Bay, will be our MC. There will be delicious food and Jack Black’s craft beer on sale during the intermission. Slide Night is a very popular event with limited space, so please secure your ticket soon!
