Globetrotter Jesse Desjardins is something of an internet phenomenon. After spending 48 hours as a tourism ambassador in Denmark, he was asked to do the same in Cape Town. His mission? To see as much as he can, and to capture the essence of Cape Town – in only 72 hours.

One of Jesse’s stops, naturally, was the Aquarium. As he already has his diving licence, he was invited to dive with our raggies in the I&J Predator Exhibit.

It seems he had a fintastic time! He tweeted his experience:

“Thank you @2OceansAquarium for letting me swim in your aquarium! #capetown #woooohooo #sharks #amazingness”

He even got some video footage of the event:

Of course, Cape Town is one of those cities that grabs hold of the heart and doesn’t let go – so Jesse extended his stay by three weeks! Nothing wrong with that, Jesse, we totally understand.

Check out the video summarising his 72 hours in Cape Town below.
