It’s 2013! The Two Oceans Aquarium would like to wish all our sea fans, near and far, a happy New Year. We hope that this year you will not flounder, but soar through the skies like a flying fish!

Extended hours

The Two Oceans Aquarium will be open from 09h00 to 20h00 every day until 6 January 2013, giving you more time to enjoy the perfectly long, hot summer days in Cape Town. Come and cool down among our serene sea scenes and enjoy guilt-free, sustainable seafood at Shoreline Café (closing at 19h30 until 6 January).

The play centre at Shoreline Café has jungle gyms and more to keep the kids occupied. Shoreline Café is also the first restaurant in Africa to obtain Marine Stewardship Council chain-of-custody certification – in partnership with I&J, we’ve put sustainable seafood on the South African map. And there are great views of the harbour, too.

Our Afrisam Children’s Play Centre, which overlooks the penguin pool, has a great holiday craft schedule.

Tickets to the Aquarium are discounted online – click here to buy. You’ll also get to skip the ticket-office queue if you come in with your printed e-ticket.

Membership to the Aquarium – which gives you oceans of benefits – is also discounted online. You get to visit the fish as often as you like, and gain access to fish-tastic benefits.
