Jiggly jellyfish! It’s the end of the year and time to celebrate!

Pack a picnic supper and enjoy a fabulous festive sleepover at the Aquarium.

Bring the little ones, all dressed up as their favourite character, and start your evening with a festive arrival drink, cupcakes and face painting. There will be fun arts and crafts for the kiddies, as well an opportunity to meet, and take photographs with, our fabulous penguin mascot, Samantha.

With a call of “Ho, ho, ho,” a special visitor will announce his arrival, as well as the much-anticipated handing out of presents. Then, settle down and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a movie on our big screen. When tired yawns start to make their appearance, crawl into your sleeping bag and drift off to dreamland while ragged-tooth sharks and all the other amazing animals in the I&J Predator Exhibit keep a watchful eye.

Be sure to dream of a magical underwater wonderland for when the sunlight starts to trickle through the water and you rise and shine to meet the new day ... with a yummy buffet breakfast waiting at the Shoreline Café.

This year, we would like to support some of the thousands of animals in shelters across the Western Cape. Please show your support by bringing along a tin or two of pet food as a donation.

What to bring:

• Picnic dinner for the evening, sleeping bag/mattresses, pillow, blankets etc, toiletries, change of clothes
• A gift for your child, wrapped and labelled with your child’s name
• A donation of tinned pet food

Cost: R250 per adult; R200 per child four to 13 years; R150 per child two to three years (please note: this event may not be suitable for children under two years of age)
Booking is essential. Tickets sell very quickly, so book early!

Bookings close on 1 December or when tickets are sold out.
