The Aquarium will be open from 09h00 to 20h00 from December 17 until 6 January 2013 (closing at 18h00 on December 25), giving you plenty time to experience Cape Town’s long, hot summer days, and still enjoy the cool evenings among the wonders of the ocean.

The warm weather outside is enough to make the clear blue waters of our exhibits look like a tempting place to be - and they are! Find out about how you can book a dive at the Two Oceans Aquarium and swim amongst the sharks of the I&J Predator Exhibit or explore the Ocean Basket Kelp Forest.

If a long day of holidaying has worked up your appetite, head for the Shoreline Café, the first restaurant in Africa to obtain Marine Stewardship Council chain-of-custody certification. Sit back and enjoy a guilt-free, sustainable meal prepared by our kitchen.

The Afrisam Children’s Play Centre, overlooking the penguin pool, has its usual offering of arts and crafts and puppet shows during the holiday season. Let your little ones get creative while you take a relaxing stroll through our exhibits.
