Visit the fish for longer!

Each year, as the summer days lengthen, we extend our opening hours, affording you the opportunity to experience the Aquarium’s underwater wonders for longer.

From December 21 to January 8, the Aquarium will be open from 9am to 8pm (last ticket sold at 7.30pm) – perfect for those who like to start their holiday days a little earlier and extend them a little longer.

Marine eco-safari combo

Combine your visit to the Aquarium with an explorative boat trip on the Ocean Adventurer.

Tickets are available at the Aquarium ticket office and the adult combo tickets costs R375 for a 90-minute marine eco-safari in Table Bay and a visit to the Aquarium.

Lots for kids to do

Throughout the festive season, the AfriSam Children’s Play Centre will have jam-packed festive season programme on offer. The little ones can enjoy themed arts and crafts as well as the ever-popular puppet shows.

Everyone will have a fun time meeting the Aquarium mascots. Remember to take a selfie or gather the family for a group shot.

Grab a meal with a view

The Aquarium’s on-site restaurant Shoreline Café will, during extended hours, remain open later with the kitchen closing only at 6.30pm.
