The DELI2SEA ocean awareness event, hosted by the Good Machine, Chardonnay Deli, and Dalebrook Café, takes place on Sunday, 4 December 2022. The event gives participants the unique opportunity to enjoy the natural wonders of the Southern Cape Peninsula while supporting local ocean conservation efforts in a 17km walk/run/wiggle from Chardonnay Deli in Constantia to Dalebrook Tidal Pool and Café in Kalk Bay. Participants are encouraged to arrive from 05h15 to allow time for registration and the event starts at 06h00. The cut-off time is 14h00.
By purchasing an entry event participants will be supporting the education, conservation, and research efforts of the Two Oceans Aquarium Foundation - such as rehabilitating sea turtles like Bob. The Foundation was established by the Two Oceans Aquarium and is dedicated to inspiring communities to connect with and protect the ocean through education, conservation, and research.
