Thirty-nine guides from the Cape Tourist Guides Association recently joined the Aquarium marketing team for a day of breathtaking scenery, brushing up on their knowledge of the Aquarium, and learning more about new developments leading up to the Aquarium’s 21st birthday in 2016. There was also a sneak peek at the behind-the-scenes operations and inner workings of the Aquarium.

Everyone also had a ball on the Ocean Adventurer boat, with a southern right whale making an appearance and dolphins playing in the wake of the boat.

Sylvia Barrat, educationals facilitator, had the following to say: “Thank you for an outstanding educational and hospitality for the group of 39 tourist guides yesterday. Our visit has created fresh excitement with tourist guides who regularly list the Two Oceans Aquarium on itineraries.”
