The July holidays are again packed with FREE courses for high school learners!
During the first week, 30 June to 4 July, we will be offering a Life Science Revision Course for matric students. This course aims to assist students with good marks in life sciences, so that they can possibly bump up their final matric results by a grade. Students who take part in the course will be supplied with examples of past exam papers, as well as comprehensive study notes. Please contact Katja Rockstroh on education@aquarium.co.za for application forms.
In the second week (7 to 11 July), we will be running our SeaFans course, aimed at grade 9s. This course is an introductory course for teens who have an interest in marine sciences and want to learn more about both the physical aspects of the ocean as well as marine biology. The course takes place at the Two Oceans Aquarium, with a possible boat trip included (weather permitting). All interested applicants should write a motivational letter, accompanied by a letter of recommendation from a teacher, and send it to education@aquarium.co.za or submit them online.
Applications for both courses close 11 June 2014.
