Love your oceans – Saturday 15 February 2014
Calling all Happy Hoppers!
This Valentine’s Day, we celebrate our love for the oceans and all our special ocean friends.
Hoppers, enjoy a fun morning at the Aquarium! Learn more about the animals in a mini guided tour of the Diversity Hall before decorating delicious ocean animal-shaped biscuits (which you can also give to mom or dad as a Valentine’s gift).
Continue your visit by watching a puppet show and doing arts and crafts in the activity centre. Don’t forget to blow a kiss to your favourite fish!

Behind-the-scenes tour – Saturday 22 February 2014
Did you know an octopus has three hearts, a shrimp’s heart is in its head and the male seahorse woos his mate by twining tails together? These are just a few things you can learn during an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Aquarium.
Find out where the Aquarium gets its seawater from, how this water is filtered and learn about the multitude of processes that take place here every day. You may even have the opportunity to peer into the I&J Predator Exhibit and watch the ragged-tooth sharks swimming from above!
