Join the Two Oceans Aquarium Foundation for another edition of the ever-popular Junior Biologist course. Suitable for Grade 6 learners, this course is aimed at children that are interested in the ocean, and its amazing animals and plants.
The Foundation's teachers are great at bringing the ocean and its amazing inhabitants to each learner through interactive classes in the classrooms at the Aquarium. The course includes fun content, such as the differences between our two ocean basins, animals you will find in rock pools, an introduction to the amazing octopus family, how to tell turtles and tortoises apart, and a look at the fish family, including sharks. As an added bonus we will also show you the behind-the-scenes area of the turtle rehabilitation programme at the Two Oceans Aquarium. This course is great for any children in Grade 6, who have always shown an interest in the ocean and love the environment. Our course will definitely foster this love further and open up another world of wonder and learning.
The course will take place over four Saturdays in February and March.
