‘Perfect for a non-beach day’

“Two Oceans Aquarium is a great aquarium. The layout is good, exhibits are interesting and varied and the large tanks are spectacular. There is a good range of things for kids to do and enjoy, as well as the opportunity for them to learn about the two oceans that converge nearby.

“The Aquarium is well suited with ample parking, and good for a wet weather day, or to amuse the kids while some shopping gets done in the nearby Waterfront. Combine with a lunch at the Aquarium restaurant or an array of options nearby, plus a wander through the harbour area. Its a really good spot.”

‘Absolute fun!’

“My wife and I took our two nieces to this aquarium just before Christmas. Quite frankly I thought I’d be bored as I am not an aquarium person. It was an absolute fun thing to do. Lots of children having fun and discovering new things. The penguin pen was a highlight for me. They are such cute little fellows those.

“The aquarium focuses on educating children and adults on conserving our environments and fish and animal habitats and on sustainable fishing. Activities, especially the Frog display area is very child friendly and interactive. There are also loads of photo opportunities within the aquarium areas.

“A must visit if you find yourself in Cape Town.”

‘Awe inspiring Aquarium’

“What a brilliant aquarium and so much more! The most amazing interactive exhibits where you can get in the middle for a picture surrounded by fish. I found the whole experience a delight.

“I loved sitting in a gallery watching a gigantic window and watching the white tipped sharks and a dozen other species casually pass by. This place is a must whatever age you are but next year it will be an extended visit with the grandchildren!”
