If you were tuned into the Expresso show on SABC3 on Monday, 23 May 2011 between 05h30 and 06h00, you’ll have seen Heidi de Maine, aka Abby the Aquarist, in the AfriSam Children’s Centre, “edutaining” little ones with her great children’s book, Abby’s Aquarium Adventures.

The life and times of an Aquarium is exciting, to say the least … In the clip below, we learn about the pufferfish, or blaasoppie in a fun arts and crafts session. The clip is in Afrikaans; but you do get to see some of our great exhibits.
